Leah Killian
Design Team ManagerLeah Killian, our Design Team Manager, is a North Dakota girl traveling the world at the side of her air force husband, Chris. Currently residing in California, she keeps herself busy being the mother of two crazy adorable children, Jonas and Maggie, designing kits and art for The Scrapbook Nook, Quickutz and Cosmo Cricket, reading, and eating as much Mexican food as she can find. Leah started scrapping over a decade ago, long before scrapping was the art form it is today, and way before scrapping was cool. Now, many, many layouts later, she can usually be found up to her elbows in paper and adhesive working on the next project. Leah has a passion for writing and enjoys keeping her blog, "Life as Lou" which is a compilation of short stories from her life and her scrapbooking projects. She is very excited to be a part of this great kit club!
Selena Kimsey
Designer-Assistant managerSelena Kimsey is a 30 year old California native who resides in Virginia Beach, VA with her 2 boys and their daddy. She has been a member of The Nook since December 2006 and has loved every minute of her time here. Making new friends and inspiring others is what she loves to do here at The Nook. She started scrapbooking in 1998. It became more than a hobby for her when she tried out for her first design team in the summer of 2005. When she is not scrapbooking she can be found on the mats of a Taekwondo studio. She is a Nationally certified instructor and currently a 2nd degree black belt. She is a NC State Champion in 5 categories for 2007 and finished 3rd in the World for Forms and Weapons in her age and rank division in June 2007. Other hobbies she enjoys are photography, cooking, motorcycling and running. You can also find her on the highways traveling the US. This gal loves to travel. Selena looks forward to working with a very talented team and creating with the fabulous kits for the next 6 months.

DesignerHello there! My name is Amanda Boyles. I've been married to my hubbie Ben for 7 years and I am, thankfully, a SAHM to my almost 6 year old son, my 3 year old daughter and another little boy due to join our family in October. They are my pride and joy! I'm a small town girl at heart living in the big town of Nashville but Idaho will forever be my home...I've been scrapping for 7 years but only became obsessed with it in the last 4. I also do some digital scrapbooking on the side.....If there is anything you should know about me, it is this: I LOVE THIS HOBBY! It has really become something so important and meaningful in my life. I'm so grateful to be a part of the world of scrapbooking and to be able to share my love for art and preserving memories with the people around me. I'm mostly grateful for the memories I have created for my children because they are who I scrapbook for!! I am so excited for this awesome opportunity to be a design team member for the Nook!! DesignerHi there! My name is Jen. :) I have been knee deep into this hobby of papercrafting for several years now. I love everything about it, especially being involved in a messageboard and kit club community with other paper addicts here at The Nook. My craft room is my favorite place to be -- it smells like ink and paper, and I treasure every moment I can steal away from my kids to hang out and create in *my* space. My 3 little ones will often pull out an album, spread it out on the living room floor, point and giggle. It makes me feel warm and happy. I'm incredibly honored to be designing for The Nook! My primary paper passions are card making and stamping. I dig everything technique-related and I'm always on the hunt for a good old fashioned challenge. DesignerHi all! My name is Stacey Michaud. I am married to a great guy and we have two wonderful children! I am a teacher during the day and an avid scrapbooker by night! Loving all things paper, I scrap to create keepsakes for my family and friends. When designing layouts, my favorite part is being able to tell the story behind the photos. I use my layouts as an opportunity to express my innermost feelings, good or bad, so that my family and friends will know just how I feel about them. For me, heartfelt journaling is a must! Scrapping about everyday moments and my loved one's personalities makes me happy. I have been blessed enough to be published in Memory Makers magazine several times! I can't believe how much joy I get from this craft! The Nook is an amazing place full of friendly and talented people. I consider myself super lucky to be here and can't wait to grow and learn alongside all of you!

DesignerMy name is Ewonne and I come from Sweden. I'm 35 years old and live with my two children, Jessica who's almost 16 and Filip soon to be 14 and a cat named Oliver who really thinks he's a dog from time to time! We live in a small town called Katrineholm about an hour by train from Stockholm, the capital. My dear boyfriend Janne, since 8 years back, lives in Stockholm because he works there and we see each other every other weekend.
I work full time in an office, with economy and quality system, and I must say I kind of like it there!
I found out about scrapbooking about two years ago, by accident, when I was unemployed and surfing the web, got caught by the bug immediately and haven't looked back since! I love to create and do it as often as I can, I don't have any other hobbies today. When I make layouts it's in 99 percent of the time the size 12x12. Love to have a lot of details on them so it usually takes me a while to finish a page off, but I enjoy every second of it! When I sit and scrap I always have a cup of coffee and some candy nearby. And preferable I listen to a good book or music in my i-Pod! I also do cards, mini albums (love them) and I like to alter things. I think that's about it! I'm so happy to be on this team and I sure will do my best for it!!

My name is Mette and I live in a town called Västerås in Sweden together with my husband Classe and our three teenagers. Mye is the oldest one and she is 19 years, then it´s Emma and she will soon be 18 years and at last it´s littlebrother Adam and he is 14 years. I work as a receptionist ( and if needed an assistant nurse) at a surgeon ward at the hospital here in Västerås. I love to spend my freetime together with my family and friends. And then I ofcourse love scrapbooking! I´ve been scrapping since January 2007. I loved it from moment one! This is such a great hobby and it gives me all I love... Such as paper, colour, paint, photos, pens, stamps and so on. I am so excited to get this awesome oppportunity to be a part of the very talented design team at the Nook!
